Natural toxins

Authors:

Krolevets A.A.. Adress: Kursk. Workplace: The South-West State University.

Summary

The article examines natural phytotoxins and zootoxins, which are known since long time ago and were used for “military” purposes (poisoned arrows, etc.) and in medicine since before their separation became possible and their composition was determined. Natural poisonous matters are subdivided into poisons and toxins. Toxins are poisonous matters of animal, plant, or microbially-derived origin. As a rule, those are protein matters. It is possible to relate toxins, which call poisoning, while not the disease, to the chemical toxins.

Keywords:

Our approach to study main classes of inorganic compounds

Authors:

Ilyicheva Ye. V.. Adress: The settlement of Vorotynets, the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Workplace: Secondary school.

Karpov G. M.. Adress: Nizhny Novgorod. Workplace: The Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical Universuty.

Summary

Forming chemical ideas takes place in the following direction: chemical experiment → observation → corporeal model → creating the cogitative image of an object → verbal image → sign model. In this respect ideas about chemical phenomena are formed in the first turn, them their images and, further on concepts. That’s why the authors offer to examine the behavior of inorganic compounds of the main classes at the empirical level first, then to say, and only after that to put them into a symbolic shape (to form reaction equations). That allows to decrease a number of abstract ideas and symbolic and graphical means at the first stages of studying chemistry, and, therefore, to facilitate the intussusception of chemical ideas.

Keywords:

Main classes of inorganic compounds.
