The application and potential possibilities of natural cyclodextrins in pharmacology, food industry, cosmetics, and in some fields of chemistry and chemical technology are considered in the article. It is important that many physical and chemical properties of cyclodextrins may be changed in desired direction by means of directed functionalization. The special attention was dedicated to the most important cyclodextrins property to form various inclusion compounds of “guest—host” type, and to be useful intermediates for the supramolecular architecture (supramolecular machines, rotacsanes, polyrotacsanes, molecular shuttles, catenanes, molecular bouquets and necklaces) as well.

Changes made to the new edition of a textbook on chemistry, can be divided into several categories. 1.Osnovnom object of chemistry is a substance that is why the focus should be on materials, wide possibilities of their transformation through various actions, including chemicals .2. The sections on physical chemistry must incorporate questions on thermochemistry, kinetics, catalysis. It is known that a huge role in nanosystems play self-organization, allowing to obtain a controlled molecular structure with a given spatial configuration and properties. Therefore, in our view, should be annexed to the chemical processes of the concept of "synergy" as the ability of self-organization, as well as some of the achievements in the field of chemistry supermolekulyarnoy related to the synthesis of molecules and molecular assemblies that are capable of self-organization. Classification of chemical reactions necessary to supplement the cyclical processes, which consist of multiple repetitions of the same transformation, and are called oscillatory reactions.
