Following the path towards the implementation of the FSES schools and chemistry teachers have many problems. Sometimes obstacles are so insurmountable that there is a risk of implementing state educational standards only on paper. In the context of the system approach, the classification of interdisciplinary links on the basis of which training integrative problems should be designed to develop students experience to solve integrative problems in their future professional activity, has been proposed. Progress monitoring as a monitoring system

This report considers progress monitoring as a monitoring system exemplified in the content of the secondary school chemistry course. Monitoring system contains four components: subjects of monitoring, а set of monitoring procedures, a set of techniques for assessing student performance on a regular and frequent basis, monitoring performance. The author describes each element of the system. The description is provided with the resource materials (development charts, academic achievements page and tasks) which are necessary for the progress monitoring management.

In chemistry, especially in solving problems the value of the molar volume of gases and the term “normal conditions” are often mentioned. But this term contradicts the IUPAC instructions, and the numerical value of the molar volume is a little higher. It is difficult, but the time has come to consider the recommendations of the IUPAC in teaching chemistry at school.

This article describes an interesting approach to forming algorithm for solving problems with “the excess of substances”.
