Consultation

A question from an overheard talk, or Why phenolphthalein has not changed a stain?

Authors:

Medvedev Yu.N.. Adress: Moscow. Workplace: the Moscow State Pedagogical University.

Summary

To answer this question it will be necessary for the beginning to remember the way acid-base test devices work. The majority of them are classified as weak organic acids or bases. In the water solution such weak acids dissociate insignificantly. In a solution these two forms are in the equal balance state. Adding an acid or an alkali disturbs this balance, which causes the accumulation of one of the test device forms in the solution, the stain of which we observe.

Specificity of the object of chemistry - changing substance, demands corresponding evident and dynamical methods of teaching, and the organisation of the process of mastering knowledge of chemistry - a mobile feedback "the teacher - the pupil". The choice of remote methods by means of information-communicative technologies has allowed us to intensify and individualise chemistry training as much as possible. For that at profile school (classes) pupils are trained on the individual educational programs based on a choice of subjects and elective courses within an admissible academic load. Realisation of individual educational routes in training of chemistry has demanded use of information, organizational-communicative potential of remote training. In the article the experience of application of remote methods of training of chemistry is reflected, and the practice of cooperation of the teacher of chemistry with pupils within the limits of network interaction is also shown.
