The scenario of a lesson on the topic of “Dissolution. Solubility of substances in water. Solutions” for 8th-graders is designed on the basis of the critical thinking development technology. The learning process in general as well as each lesson in particular, is created by the interaction of students and information on the topic of the lesson. A teacher should be as flexible as possible in any learning situation at any moment of the lesson. Training is based on the principles of cooperation, joint lesson planning and meaningfulness at each stage of the lesson. Due to reflection, an important element of the critical thinking development technology, students’ independent thinking is formed, they are armed with ways and methods of independent work on the topic of the lesson.
