Four core subjects were chosen for an exam, such as physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics). The students were offered to provide a project with a solution of a research task regarding their subject, while they were obliged to practice general academic knowledge and skills. Students were not restricted with usage of knowledge sources, with communication with experts, with consultations with instructors (teachers) of all subjects. Ten days were given to students to get ready. At the exam the students presented three projects. The chemistry and biology project showed students’ skills to find the right technique while carrying out an experiment, the formedness of research skills, ability to form tasks, to put together the activity algorithm, to analyze, and draw conclusions.
