Summary

Students should master the new material, acquire new knowledge through their cognitive activity and be able to use the acquired knowledge in practice. Modern educational teaching technologies, and in particular the teaching technology "Development of critical thinking through reading and writing" should be applied in teaching in order to form the overall competence of a graduate, to strengthen the educational and cognitive activity of students and to improve the methods of teaching. This technology is universal, it allows any teacher to work effectively. Each lesson with the use of this technology provides a gradual promotion of students to the planned educational outcomes. This teaching technology allows representing each step of the lesson in the form of a complete «module» with clearly defined goals and objectives, as well as the planned educational outcomes. This approach makes it possible to track the performance of each student throughout the lesson at each stage, and also allows you to observe the principle of continuity of learning in the class.
